Agreed to join efforts to accelerate the export of 🇺🇦 grain through the Baltic Sea ports. We need to address infrastructure bottlenecks and increase the capacity to use the full potential of Klaipėda Port.”
The collaboration between Lithuania and Poland aims to address the existing infrastructure bottlenecks that hinder the efficient export of grain. By leveraging the Baltic Sea ports, the two countries seek to unlock the full potential of Klaipėda Port to facilitate a smoother and more effective grain export process.

It not only strengthens the Baltic region’s role as a vital transportation hub but also enhances trade opportunities between Ukraine and the European Union.
President Nausėda and Prime Minister Morawiecki emphasized the importance of efficient infrastructure and underscored the need to remove existing bottlenecks. By doing so, they aim to maximize the utilization of Klaipėda Port’s capabilities, improving the export process and boosting the overall competitiveness of the region’s grain industry.
The joint efforts between Lithuania and Poland to accelerate grain exports through the Baltic Sea ports is a testament to the collaboration and cooperation between neighboring nations. By mobilizing their resources, both countries are poised to unlock the full potential of the region, fostering economic growth and strengthening regional integration. (*)
