October 29, 2023 – In his recent tweet, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim (@anwaribrahim) expressed his gratitude for arriving safely at Changi Airport in Singapore for a one-day working visit in conjunction with the 10th Malaysia-Singapore Leaders’ Retreat.
He announced that he is scheduled to meet with the President of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong, tomorrow morning to discuss and resolve several outstanding issues between the two countries, as well as strengthen the bilateral Malaysia-Singapore relationship. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim requested prayers for the smooth progress of Malaysia’s delegation during the visit.
This visit highlights the importance of maintaining diplomatic ties between Malaysia and Singapore and resolving any outstanding issues through constructive dialogue.
