Jakarta, October 5, 2023 – President Joko Widodo (@jokowi) held a limited meeting at the Merdeka Palace today to discuss national strategic projects (PSN). During the meeting, ministers reported on PSNs that have been completed but have yet to be inaugurated, as well as projects that have been halted.
As of October 4, a total of 170 PSNs have been completed with an investment value of Rp1,299.41 trillion, and there are currently 61 projects in the construction phase. In 2023 alone, 17 PSNs have been officially inaugurated with a value reaching Rp259.41 trillion. These projects include the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Train with a value of Rp125.7 trillion, the Integrated Transportation System (LRT) in Jabodetabek worth Rp29.9 trillion, as well as various industrial areas, dams, and toll roads.
Looking ahead to 2024, there are 25 PSNs with a value of Rp151.58 trillion that are scheduled to be completed by October 20, 2024. Additionally, between October 20 and December 2024, there are 12 national strategic projects with a total value of Rp23.45 trillion. Furthermore, there are 42 projects with a value of Rp1,427.36 trillion that are expected to be completed after 2024. These ongoing projects will continue until completion.
President Joko Widodo expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the national strategic projects and emphasized their importance in boosting the country’s development. He stated, “These projects are crucial in realizing our vision for a more advanced and developed Indonesia. We will continue to work hard to complete them on time and ensure their successful implementation.”
